Allen Blythe is an 8 year boy who is very superstitious. His mother was a gypsy married a rich man who eventually left her after he was born. Born with ebony black hair and emerald green eyes he looked different than many of the other gypsys. After his mother died he joined a caravan becoming one of the many fortune tellers in the group although being a boy. Allen has been taught the ways of gypsy life; fortune telling, pickpocketing, entertaining and spirit contact. While looking for a suitable place to for the group to rest he sees a strange fox that will soon lead him somewhere strange.
